Horse-drawn sleigh ride

Giddyap! Steaming, good-natured giants.  How they snort and blow white clouds of smoke into the crystal clear winter air.  No whip is needed since they evidently enjoy the journey as much as their passengers.  Wrapped in warm blankets and completely at ease, the journey takes you deep into the winter forest where at the end, a hunting lodge awaits you with fine titbits.

This is where the High Tauern National Park is at its best, where the earth´s good fortune is cradled in the sleighs of the horses. That feeling of being far, far away.
