Yoga
We are happy to welcome Sylvia Brunner as a yoga teacher in August in our house. Sylvia has been practicing Ashtanga yoga since 2001 with enthusiasm and passion. In the beginning, she was in search of a balance to her often stressful job in the pharmaceutical industry. Finally, she graduated in 2008 after a two-year teacher training with Axl Dinse and Manfred Gaupner (yoga Shala Vienna). After that followed international workshops, among others, with Danny Paradise, Michael Stone, Sri. V. Sheshadri, Nancy Gilgoff, Jason Nemer, Dr. Patrick Broome and a longer stay with Paul Dallaghan (Centered Yoga Thailand).
In the Jivamukti yoga system, she finds the ideal balance to the sometimes quite strong Ashtanga style, which gives her the freedom to organize each session differently. The use of props such as blocks and belts, can help older people and beginners be more at ease in certain yoga postures.
Sylvia's loving, connecting instruction helps her students find their full potential and reach their goals. Especially important for her, is to assist her students with the use of adjustments to carefully bring them in the correct position.
She finds regular yoga practice to be a good way to be more present, more grounded and a way to connect with the heart. Yoga is possible at any time and everywhere, regardless of age and physical possibilities.
